Tasting 1-2-3: Coconut Macaroon Coffee

I'm currently taste testing a new coffee brand and flavor: Archer Farms, Coconut Macaroon. Surprisingly it isn't that bad. Although it's not that strong, so if you like it strong, add lots of extra. I can actually drink this without any creamer or milk too.

This coffee smells wonderful. If you like coconut macaroons, you'll love this flavor. It actually tastes like the cookie.Mmmm...I want a cup now. If only it weren't already 9pm...

Basil Pesto Pasta

Easy pasta. I cheated though and bought the basil pesto sauce. All I did was add more tomatoes and sesame seeds. I'd add more tomatoes if we had more. The only downside is that the sesame seeds always got stuck in my teeth. I didn't salt the noodles too as I boiled them. I thought it wouldn't have much taste, but I couldn't tell. Either way, it's still tasty.

Tater Tot Casserole

If you want comfort food that's quick and easy, this is it. Tater tot casserole. All it consists of are:

Tater tots
Sour cream
Cream of mushroom
Cheese
Jalepenos

I'm pretty OCD'ish at times, so I like to layer them and line up the tater tots, but you can easily just mix them all together in a bowl and bake it. This meal makes me happy.

Nothing Bundt Cakes

Happy Mothers Day! A Mothers Day Bundt Cake from Nothing Bundt Cakes. I really love their design and packaging. Very cute. This one was their Red Velvet bundt. Very moist and tasty. I actually really like their lemon flavor and their white chocolate raspberry flavor too. I'm thinking my favorite is the white chocolate raspberry because it's very light. My mom thought the bundt was a little too sweet for her taste and not as moist, but otherwise she liked it. I mean, what do you expect from a mother that bakes very well? My mom used to bake all the time for us. Her sponge cake is awesome! She's going to teach me her tricks this weekend on the sponge cake. I'm hoping I got her baking talents...
The picture was perfect because it represents me, my mom and my sister. Although the picture is of a son and daughter...haha.

Chocolates from London.

Very cute chocolates from London. My aunt gave this box to my mom, so of course I had to sample each type of chocolate. The Snickers didn't quite taste like ours in the US. It's almost as if they use a different type of caramel. Not bad actually. Bounty is basically our Almond Joy. My favorite: The Teasers.

Edible Arrangements

I wasn't sure what to get Ira for his birthday. I finally decided that I couldn't go wrong with food, so I had an Edible Arrangement get sent to his work. It's pretty pricey considering the size. It included $8 to have them ship it over there. I did also pay extra to have half of the strawberries dipped in chocolate. Either way, this is healthier than sending a bunch of candy. At least it's fruit. My only dislike: the chocolate dipped bananas. They looked really great (half white chocolate, half milk chocolate), but it just didn't taste the same.

Godiva's Chocolixir

My coworker introduced me to this chocolate goodness; Godiva's Chocolixir. Now, I don't normally like that much chocolate. The darker the chocolate, the less likely I am to eat it. Plus, it has to have something else in it like nuts or wafers. I don't like the plain chocolate. When he said it was a chocolate smoothie, I got nervous. He said to trust him, so I gave in and decided to try one. I'm glad I did. It's fabulous. Not too dark and perfectly smooth going down.
